What is ABA therapy?

ABA leverages the latest in scientific research on behavior to help your child learn. Together we develop a highly individualized treatment plan to target core symptoms of autism. Ultimately, the purpose of services is to help your child learn and live a happy and fulfilling life through behavior change with highly effective instructional strategies that work for all learners!

What if I just want to talk with someone about ABA?

I would love to hear from you! Contact me to set up a free consultation.

Does Trendline ABA accept insurance?

Yes, I accept Magellan, Cigna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. I am always working with my medical billing specialists to join additional insurance networks.

What if I don't have insurance or Trendline ABA is not in-network with my insurance?

Families can choose a private pay option. Alternatively, if you have insurance but Trendline ABA is out-of-network, my medical billing specialists will work hard to secure a single-case agreement.

Where can I receive services?

I provide services in-home, in the community, and in schools. I don't offer clinic-based services.

What if I don't want in-home services?

I can provide ABA services anywhere in Texas via telehealth.

What if I just want to work on a few skills?

I am happy to provide short-term services or a low level of services, such as 1-2 hours per week, to work on one or more specific skills your child needs help with.

What happens if I request services?

We'll do an initial free consultation by phone or zoom to confirm I'm an appropriate service provider for your family's needs. Then I'll send you a services request form and a verification of benefits form to gather your information and verify your ABA insurance benefits. Once benefits are verified, we'll request an authorization for assessment. The purpose of the assessment is to determine your child's need for services and recommend a treatment plan. Once you approve the treatment plan, we submit it to your insurance and request an authorization for ABA therapy. When we receive that authorization, we set a schedule and begin ABA therapy!

What if my child is currently receiving ABA services?

Insurances generally will not fund two ABA service providers simultaneously. However, if you are seeking ABA for feeding difficulties specifically, my medical billing specialists will work hard to obtain an authorization for ABA feeding therapy concurrent with services you are receiving from another ABA provider.

What locations do you serve?

I serve all locations throughout San Antonio with in-home, community, and telehealth services. I can provide telehealth services anywhere in Texas.
